She was the guiding beacon. When cancer took her, it took all of us with her. Remember her name, and mourn it as you would mourn the death of a world.”

Avery Callow passed away of lung cancer on may 22nd, 2024. She was thirteen, an arctic wolf therian, a lover of oranges, and the bravest soul. Her memory is carried on by her sister Lilian, her best friends Nixxi and Everest, and all her other adoring family and friends.

On the morning of may 22nd, 2024, Avery Callows passed after a three year fight against lung cancer, at the age of 13.

Her friends in the online chat room she frequented found out from this message, sent by one of Avery’s closest friends, Nixxi.

“Avery died this morning. She lived to catch the sunrise. then she died.”

Just the night before, Avery spent time with her online friends. Brave to the end, Avery spent her time joking, laughing, and enjoying the time she had left. Every moment of her time with others so showed courage, bravery, and strength that amazed all who met her. She knew she had only hours left, but if you had just met Avery that night, you would have thought she had the rest of her life to live.

Hi guys, its Avery. And it's my big day! I know that not everyone knows me, but to those who did, this is my very last and final journal entry.

I am gonna die today. it's a fact i've accepted. My sister, Lillian (also a therian) will post some notes I wrote to individual people on this chat later.

Im so grateful I knew all of u. even the people that I'm not friends with, this chat is family to me. Please try not to mourn me too much. I'll be ok in heaven. (I think).

I don't want this chat to be in flames. If people could stop fighting and start being like how this chat used to be (my fellow og's know what I'm talking about), things would be so much better.

Just incase people who don't know me r reading this, I'm Avery, My theriotype is an Arctic Wolf, I'm and OG, I'm 13, my bday is Febuary 14th, my younger sister, (Lillian) will take my place after I'm gone. The reason why I'm leaving, is cause I have stage 4 lung cancer and I'm dying. I'm not gonna live more than 10 hours after this. This is my final goodbye before I leave the world.

I just want people to know, that I am a proud therian, a proud OG, a proud friend, a proud sister, and a proud daughter. Try not to forget me too quickly ok lol?

I can feel death taking over. I wont last another day. Thank you to all the amazing therians, otherkin, and non-therians on this chat. I love u guys always. (Lillian will post the individual notes I wrote to my friends on here later.) No more suicide, drugs, self harm, or self insulting. U r flawed and beautiful, like every living being. Live long, and prosper.

It's hard getting used to everyone you meet passing, but when you pass on you will be remembered for your courage and bravery dealing with cancer. You are so brave and nobody will forget you.
